We transform lives through daily commitment, solidarity, and strength.

Who we are

Equipo de Acre

Acercando Realidades Association, founded in 1995, is a humanist project led by women with extensive experience in specialized work with vulnerable groups. Over the years, it has implemented and managed numerous programs and projects focused on social intervention, child and family protection, social and labor integration, and socio-educational and psychotherapeutic support. A core pillar of the organization is its gender perspective, bringing quality, warmth, equity, and reciprocity to its work. First-person care, presence, and a pedagogy rooted in affection and everyday life are the cornerstone of our intervention model.

Proyectos de protección de menores

Since 1999, Acercando Realidades Association has managed child protection centers with a human and educational approach, starting with the opening of the Acercando Realidades Residential Center—the first co-ed center in Andalusia—providing a warm and structured environment for adolescents at risk.

In 2007, the Heliópolis Immediate Reception Center was launched to support children in critical situations, followed by the CREA Center in 2016, focused on young people in social conflict. Each space reflects the association’s philosophy of educational and emotional care, involving families in the process. With over two decades of experience, the association has helped transform the child protection system, ensuring nurturing environments and opportunities for every child to build their future.
